Welcome one and all, to my traveling diary.

First some background as to why, well I needed some time off work to have as me time and work out what I wanted to do in life, still thinking that computing might not be it. So after working on a project at work, the relaunch of exodus.co.uk, and seeing some of their amazing trips I decided to do one myself, on my own to take me outside of my comfort zone. Then it just grew into this whole mini adventure.

I'm doing this not only as a way of letting everyone know what and where I'm up to its also for my benefit, so in later years I can see what I did, where and when!

It all starts on the 31st of July 2008 when I head out to South Africa to start my adventure, then heading out to the states on the 10th September 2008 and finally heading back to the UK on the 3rd November 2008.

At the bottom of each section there are links to the previous and next days itinerary along with a link to the parent page. Hopefully this makes navigating this section a breeze.

If I have time any day, or when I come back I'll add any pictures for that day to the relevant pages on the site along with the main photo gallery section. And if I'm really bored then I might even try adding them to a Google map overlay magic thing.
